Cause Effective’s service to nonprofit organizations deeply rooted in their communities – with leaders who are imaginative and fiercely committed to enlarging their communities’ opportunities – has been needed ever since our founding in 1981. In our 40+ years, we have partnered with over 7,000 organizations on the frontlines of social movements and issues impacting marginalized people in this country and worldwide.
Our mission is even more critical today. In today's world filled with multiple threats to all we hold dear, Cause Effective has worked nonstop to ensure that hundreds of nonprofit leaders have the knowledge and resources they need to make lasting social change.
But the same economic ill winds that are affecting our clients have also affected Cause Effective. We were forced to pause operations in October due to a lack of funds to continue. We are determined to honor our commitments to our clients, staff, affiliates and funders during this transition period - but we need your help to make this shift as seamless as possible.
